A chicken has 2 legs and 1 head. There are a few chickens on a farm. If there are 6 more legs than head, how many chickens are there on the farm?
Answer:
Since every chicken has 1 extra leg, the 6 extra legs must belong to 6 chickens.
Thus, there are 6 chickens.
