How do you start/introduce model method to primary 1?

Zach's Answer:

Hi Marley,

For Primary 1 kids, you can introduce them the the very first model they should learn, which is the part-whole model. This model lays the foundation for more complex models when they reach the upper primary. The part-whole model is also very useful for solving addition and subtraction questions at the lower primary level, especially for slower pupils.
